Grief or loss can is a very personal journey, having a safe space to explore your feelings is very important. I provide a safe space so that you have the opportunity to explore your feelings and feel listened to and heard. Grief and loss are a process which at times can leave a person feelings lonely, angry, confused, anxious etc.
How negative affects us
Imagine, if we have the power to change our negative thinking to positive thus changing the way we feel and see life? We do have the ability to change this, the same way the negative was programmed into our Brain.
We program our brains through a serious of rituals/repetitions that are etched into our brain through repetition. When we experience negative events such as trauma, whether that be any type of abuse, domestic abuse, bullying, neglect etc. I call this a corrupt file that causes us to feel not good enough, rubbish, ugly, why am I here etc. This corrupt file is like a computer virus in our supercomputer (Brain) it makes us think negative and expect the worse. It can stop us from reaching our full potential. For example, if you tell a person they are stupid enough at someone point their brain will take this on as fact and the person in question will say “I am stupid”. This is when the program is embedded into the brain, and we believe it to be true.
The corrupt program over time may also affect our physical body, buy distressing our cells in our body because of this we may experience things like IBS, Fibromyalgia, reflux, migraines, ulcers, cold sores and lower our immune system so that we are susceptible to colds and flu viruses.
I can help you to reprogram your negative thinking remember, your negative thinking is usually often a result of someone else who has said or done things to you.

Children, can be low and this can impact on their relationships with their families, friends, school and hobbies. Depression can inhibit and demotivate and can have an impact on school attendance. Learning to understand the triggers and how to manage them is important.
Adults who have been diagnosed with depression may struggle to regulate their feelings, sometimes our life events impact on our emotional wellbeing thus causing us to be overwhelmed. Learning to understand triggers, exploring the trauma and using strategies can help minimise the effects of depression.

I work with individuals or within a group setting to look at problem solving together. Exploring emotions, helping to vocalise how the person feels can be huge. I help clients to understand that their feelings are valid and look at strategies to regulate their feelings.
I offer a service that can help you on an individual basis or in a group work situation. To assist you to understand the tactics and the emotional ties that can happen in a domestic abusive relationship. Along with the impact it may have upon any children within this environment. My work with you can also include self-esteem building, as sometimes in an abusive relationship of psychological abusive relationship, self-esteem can be affected.

I can assist you in looking at any unresolved issues from childhood that may be impacting on the here and now. Inner Child work extremely beneficial for those who have had negative childhood experiences.
I have experience of working with attachment difficulties. I can support you to enhance your attachment with others, and improve relationships.
This is a full day workshop can be for anyone. Although I do not mix age groups. It will be a children’s group or adults’ group. I can work at an agreed venue. Such as your school, or workplace, or I can arrange a venue near you? The workshop is carried out over 5 hour, at the end of the workshop, the attendees go away with a certificate of attendance, a goody bag with all their work and resources that will help them manage their anxiety/stress. Attendees will also have their very own Stress Buster Plan to take away and use.
Sometimes relationships become strained and often we take our partners for granted as we flow through the cycle of life. We start off as partners, then we go through the procreation stage. In this stage we become mum and dad, and often forget who we were before children.
Couples counselling can help you explore the complexities of being in a relationship and help you to problem solve and find the reason you first fell in love with each other.
Family Therapy can help families to communicate better with each other and help problem solve. If relationships are strained therapy can help families to resolve difficulties and agree on a new way of being with each other.
Supervision is very important, especially if you have a job that is very demanding. I offer a safe confidential space, so that you can explore how your work impacts on you and the clients you work with. A space were you can be challenged in a way that is beneficial to you and your work. Supervision is about learning also, there are no experts only two minds together looking at problems etc together from a different point of view. Supervision can help you to feel more confident and motivated to continue your work. Clinical supervision can minimise burn out and help you to feel more focussed and use self-care.
